"Fabulous cottage, everything we could have needed - a home from home. Definitely want to return here."

"Had a wonderful time at Tryst Cottage. The location is fab and it had everything we needed. This cottage is now a special place for us as we went home engaged. Can't wait to come back"

"Third year running; still a fantastic cottage. Four year old loves it and just wants to come back again next year. We just feel like it's a home from home."

"Absolutely love the cottage. Has everything we've needed and character in abundance. Never cooked on an Aga before - really enjoyed it and food always tasted great. Having come here with no car we've seen everywhere surrounding Ingleton and will treasure every memory. Thank you. Our holiday with the boys has been perfection. Will be recommending your cottage, it's lovely."

"Beautiful cottage with everything you could need and more, Best sleep in a long time. Plenty to do and see, perfect couple of days, we are planning our next stay."

"Having not visited this area for a while, we found Tryst Cottage a perfect base for exploring The Dales and a real bonus the weather has been perfect. The best compliment we can think of is that each day it felt like we were coming home. Thank you."

"Another nice stay, weather was very good, did plenty of walks, this is our 6th stay and look forward to returning. Tillie's 1st stay (border collie) and she enjoyed herself. Cottage once again superb."

"A lovely weekend in a spotless, well equipped cottage, even the weather couldn't spoil it!! Thank you."

"Cottage great and short of nothing, enjoyed the folk weekend and the lovely walks."

"Lovely 4 nights at the cottage - literally everything you could need here plus Wifi which other cottages don't have. Day 1 Waterfall walk - very pretty, ice cream at 2nd van on way round - best I've tasted, got drenched due to rain at end - fun though. Day 2 White Scar cave, weird and unique then fish and chips in Hawes, then a drive to Dent for a pint - scenery fab. Day 3 - Ingleborough - mission accomplished - 2,373ft. Busy four days but thoroughly enjoyed our first time in the Dales. Communication with owners excellent. Cleaner does a great job."

We come to Ingleton at least once a year but it was our first time at Tryst Cottage. We were pleasantly surprised as of all the cottages we have stayed in, its been the most homely. Would love to come back again next year.

Ralph, Toni, Lukas, Amelia,

Lovely cottage with everything you could need. Love the location. Jane and Peter were very helpful. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be coming back soon!

Adam Pip and Dil the dog,

What a wonderful break we've had. This beautiful cottage has everything you need. Jane and Peter have thought of everything! Love Ingleton and the surrounding area. One BIG complaint.....its over too quick, but we will be back!!!

Vinny and Donna,

Had a very relaxing week on our first holiday in the Yorkshire Dales. Walked 4 days, did Settle - Appleby on railway and Skipton Castle on wet day. Lovely meal at La Cascada (tapas) and loved The Old Post Office. Cottage beautifully clean, some top class cleaners.

Kath and Martin,

2nd visit to the cottage, brought our daughter this time to experience the Dales. We've had a fantastic week, love the kitchen makeover! Had some great weather and have been out and about - even tackled the climb up Ingleborough. We love how clean and cosy the cottage is - like a home from home. Everyone in the village is really friendly. The bakery is still fantastic and the Wheatsheaf still doing good guest beers and food. We will be back again (soon, we hope).

Andy, Ali, Leigh,

Lovely comfortable cottage - very well appointed and close to the centre so no need to take the car out!! Lovely weather and great walking.

Dan and Gill,

Mum and I had a lovely break at this cosy cottage. We were lucky with the weather and spent one day relaxing on the garden mezzanine. It was such good weather we had to be careful with the dogs traveling to far afield but enjoyed Aysgarth Falls, Hawes, Skipton Market and Settle. Would definately recommend as a base for walkers. The cottage was well equipped with all the little details thought through. The neighbours were lovely !! Mum used to live in ingleton when I was a baby so a lovely nostalgic visit seeing her old house. Quite emotional. What we wouldn't give to move back. Thank you to Jane and Peter for your hospitality x

Judith ,

Had a good holiday. We are back again at Easter for 2 weeks.

Val,

Lovely cottage with everything we needed. We had a very enjoyable and peaceful Christmas. We hope to be back to explore the area further.

Gavin and Joanne,

A lovely cosy home from home! We enjoyed walks nearby, especially the Waterfalls walk in the deep frost, and Malham Cove to Goodall Scar too. The village cafes and shops were very friendly and had everything we needed from new thick socks to beans on toast and babysitters! Elliot learnt to say “cheese shop”at the Courtyard Dairy where we bought our body weight in cheese. The fruit scones there were scrummy. Thank you.

Matt and Lucy,

Totally fallen for Ingleton and surrounding areas. Pubs cafes etc are all dog friendly. Thanks for our stay at your lovely house.

The cottage was lovely and clean - a pleasure to come back to after some long walks. It's well equipped and very looked after. Some of the walks we recommend: Waterfall trail; Sedgwick Geological trail. There's plenty of info in the books provided in the cottage. We had a lovely week here, thank you.

Val and family,

We've had a cosy time at the cottage, lit the fire and used Bessie! Thanks very much for a comfortable stay in this well equipped cottage.

Jonathan and family,

Just spent a long weekend at Tryst Cottage and loved every minute of it. It was comfortable, warm, cosy and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. I would definitely recommend a stay here, we were able to relax and de-stress, so much so in fact we contacted the owner Jane , who very kindly let us book an extra night. I must add that the four poster was so incredibly comfortable, and the pillows and duvet just heavenly!!!
The owners are very helpful and provide lots of information on places of interest, where to walk your dogs and where to eat etc.
Ingleton is a lovely village where everyone is so freindly, it makes such a difference when you can take your four legged friends with you everywhere without worry.
We will definitely be back for a second visit.

Joanne,

We had an absolutely wonderful stay over Christmas.
The log burner was just an added bonus. Fab, cosy cottage in the heart of a great village with plenty of dog freindly pubs.

Jane the owner was fantastic organising dates for means Christine went the extra mile organising flowers and champagne as a surprise for my wife. Everything we needed was here and the location is perfect for out Three Peaks Challenge.

We've enjoyed our holiday very much. Your cottage is lovely and you really have thought of everything we might have needed. We mastered cooked breakfasts on "Bessie"!. We got out and about in foot and in the car.

What can we say apart from what a fantastic week we have had. Sight seeing, mwaterfalls walk and most of all, relaxing. Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful cottage, I am sure we will be back later in the year. Thank you.

Kim and Sue,

From the very first time we came here we both thought it was a special place and we really enjoy spending time here. We could not think of anywhere else to be for our Honeymoon.

Kim,

Another fabulous stay ( been too long since last visit). We love Tryst Cottage, so cozy and clean. After lovely walks snuggle d up on sofa and watched films. Bessie makes best cooked breakfast, always tastes much nicer from her!
Thank you for our lovely stay!

Karen and Emilio,

Lovely cottage and lived up to all expectations. Been very active walking and cycling and appreciated the storage shed. All our needs seem to have been catered for. It is especially nice to see a kitchen fully equipped for cooking proper meals (a real home from home in this case). Next time we will visit in the winter and make use of the log burner.

Mark, Heather, Andrew,

Perfect cottage and location to celebrate a 40th birthday! Cottage very clean, extremely well equipped and even better than looked on the website. All we needed for some quality family time in a very pretty and quiet Yorkshire village! thank you x
