Minimum Stay

Please check the availability calendar for the minimum stay in the period you wish to book.

If there is ever less than a full week showing as available I will always take a short break on the remaining days.

The prices for a short break at those times may already be listed on the Special Offers and Late Availability page - often at reduced and bargain rates.

The usual changeover day at Tryst Cottage is on a Saturday.

I always prefer to take a full week or two week booking for the cottage.

I will accept planned (ie booked well in advance) short break bookings during low season in the winter months, (November - February) including weekend bookings.

The minimum stay for any short break is 3 nights unless stated otherwise below or the availability calendar shows only two nights are vacant.

You may stay less nights if you wish, but the charge will always be for 3 nights unless i am filling a 2 night gap.

During peak season and warmer months, I only accept full week bookings.

If a full week in the peak season is still not booked two weeks before the date it is then considered "late availability." I will  then accept a short break booking during that week, however, the booking must not usually break up a two week stay ie go past the Saturday night at the end of the available week unless the booking spills over into low season (eg a weekend booking at the end of October half term). 

If a week has been reduced in price as a special offer, any short break price will be worked out on the normal price for the whole week, not the reduced price.

I will also accept planned short break bookings in March, April and May excluding Easter school holidays and Whit week.

Please contact me with an enquiry if you would want to book a planned short break in late September or October, I can often accommodate you.

(please note - if you book a short break, it may not be possible to let the remaining nights that are vacant that week. Also, the cottage receives a clean throughout prior to your stay. The cleaning costs are the same for a one night stay or a full week, hence the short break costs are not worked out on a pro rata basis)
