"Fabulous cottage, everything we could have needed - a home from home. Definitely want to return here."

"Had a wonderful time at Tryst Cottage. The location is fab and it had everything we needed. This cottage is now a special place for us as we went home engaged. Can't wait to come back"

"Third year running; still a fantastic cottage. Four year old loves it and just wants to come back again next year. We just feel like it's a home from home."

"Absolutely love the cottage. Has everything we've needed and character in abundance. Never cooked on an Aga before - really enjoyed it and food always tasted great. Having come here with no car we've seen everywhere surrounding Ingleton and will treasure every memory. Thank you. Our holiday with the boys has been perfection. Will be recommending your cottage, it's lovely."

"Beautiful cottage with everything you could need and more, Best sleep in a long time. Plenty to do and see, perfect couple of days, we are planning our next stay."

"Having not visited this area for a while, we found Tryst Cottage a perfect base for exploring The Dales and a real bonus the weather has been perfect. The best compliment we can think of is that each day it felt like we were coming home. Thank you."

"Another nice stay, weather was very good, did plenty of walks, this is our 6th stay and look forward to returning. Tillie's 1st stay (border collie) and she enjoyed herself. Cottage once again superb."

"A lovely weekend in a spotless, well equipped cottage, even the weather couldn't spoil it!! Thank you."

"Cottage great and short of nothing, enjoyed the folk weekend and the lovely walks."

"Lovely 4 nights at the cottage - literally everything you could need here plus Wifi which other cottages don't have. Day 1 Waterfall walk - very pretty, ice cream at 2nd van on way round - best I've tasted, got drenched due to rain at end - fun though. Day 2 White Scar cave, weird and unique then fish and chips in Hawes, then a drive to Dent for a pint - scenery fab. Day 3 - Ingleborough - mission accomplished - 2,373ft. Busy four days but thoroughly enjoyed our first time in the Dales. Communication with owners excellent. Cleaner does a great job."

Wow! Beautiful cottage. every creature comfort, great place to spend Christmas. A home from home.

Andy and Bev,

We have just spent a lovely week here in Tryst Cottage. We were fortunate with perfect weather to enjoy the beautiful countryside and laze in the garden. Everything about the cottage was efficient, comfortable and very tasteful, in a nicely personal way. Many thanks to Jane and Peter for providing everything and keeping in touch. Perfect!

Linda, Paul and Misty,

A very well equipped and clean cottage in a lovely location. Great Local amenities and villagers very friendly. Had a lovely few nights and would highly recommend to friends and family. Enjoyed our walk to Ingleton Waterfalls and also Ingleborough Nature Trail. Thank you both.

Val, Chris, Shadow and Murphy,

A very well equipped and very clean cottage in a lovely location. Plenty of local amenities, where we used the Wheatsheef Inn on a couple of occasions for lunch, a very welcoming pub, the staff were very pleasant, the food was excellent and the environment was clean and tidy, dogs were very welcome. We also tried the local chippy on Thursday (Closed Mon, Tues & Wed).
The Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is highly recommended, but be prepared for lots of steps, up and down!!!. Also the Ingleborough Nature Trail is a pleasant walk which will lead you to the Caves. The Caves require planning as it is a tour guided walk at given timings.
Finally I would like to say a big thank you to the owners who were very accommodating in moving our start date, due to severe snow weather.
So all in all a very nice wee break and would definitely recommend Tryst Cottage for a stay.

Chris Martin,

Lovely , homely cottage. Everything we needed was available for our stay. Loved Ingleton, enjoyed the Ingleton Waterfalls walk, and the nature walk to the cave. The cave was amazing. Thank you.

Bec Allatt,

Had another lovely weeks stay at this fabulous cottage. Comfortable, homely and very environmentally friendly.
The owners are very friendly and caring about your enjoyment. Looking forward to our next break. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

Pauline Ingleson,

We come to Ingleton at least once a year but it was our first time at Tryst Cottage. We were pleasantly surprised as of all the cottages we have stayed in, its been the most homely. Would love to come back again next year.

Ralph, Toni, Lukas, Amelia,

What a wonderful break we've had. This beautiful cottage has everything you need. Jane and Peter have thought of everything! Love Ingleton and the surrounding area. One BIG complaint.....its over too quick, but we will be back!!!

Vinny and Donna,

Had a very relaxing week on our first holiday in the Yorkshire Dales. Walked 4 days, did Settle - Appleby on railway and Skipton Castle on wet day. Lovely meal at La Cascada (tapas) and loved The Old Post Office. Cottage beautifully clean, some top class cleaners.

Kath and Martin,

Lovely comfortable cottage - very well appointed and close to the centre so no need to take the car out!! Lovely weather and great walking.

Dan and Gill,

Mum and I had a lovely break at this cosy cottage. We were lucky with the weather and spent one day relaxing on the garden mezzanine. It was such good weather we had to be careful with the dogs traveling to far afield but enjoyed Aysgarth Falls, Hawes, Skipton Market and Settle. Would definately recommend as a base for walkers. The cottage was well equipped with all the little details thought through. The neighbours were lovely !! Mum used to live in ingleton when I was a baby so a lovely nostalgic visit seeing her old house. Quite emotional. What we wouldn't give to move back. Thank you to Jane and Peter for your hospitality x
